Tavern In The Park | Toy's Cafe | SHOPPING DAY

I haven't seen Chan for at least a year! Finally here comes the day we met once again.
We went to Tavern In The Park @ Hin Bus Depot. Unfortunately, they were closed as in no food available only drinks. It was lunch time and we were both starving so we decided to look for other places. But before that, we couldn't leave the place without taking any pictures lol.

I picture Tavern In The Park to be situated at a beautiful park but it's not. It's basically a beautiful design of the tavern in a not-so-beautiful park.

We were like tourist asking random people to take photos for us

View from the tavern. See what I mean haha. Not so beautiful eh?

Toy's Cafe @ Bishop Street
We initially planned to go The Bake & Brew but it was closed. Bad luck. We walked over to the nearby Toy's Cafe and had over lunch settled!

Click to enlarge to check out their menu

Tuna Sandwich (RM8) pretty good, they have the cheezy sauce like KFC's cheezy wedges
Passion Fruit Yogurt Smoothie (RM14)

Sausage Burger Special (RM14)

We only planned for conversation over food meetup but we somehow ended in Paragon. Crazy shopping and trying out clothes with this girl. She goes ehhhhh thisssssss at everything. Sales are going on everywhere, it's a good time to shop.

We had Thai Coffee Cafaeyen located at Gurney Plaza lower ground. Ordered the Cafae Green Tea and I love it. A good combination of coffee and green tea. Can we take a moment to appreciate how hard and sturdy the plastic cup is. I'm not even kidding.

My New Hair Colour @ Lad Salon

A week ago, I went back to Lad Salon for a new change, not a drastic one though. Lun gave me a few suggestions and I decided to go for a ash purple highlight on the top of my head and matte brown for the base. However, the highlight faded in less than a week, giving me a ash grey highlight.
After all these dying, my hair is getting really dry, I probably have to stop dying for now. I couldn't help it sometimes because I have white/grey hair. It's inherited and I got my very first white strand while I was still in primary school. Many asked why do you have so many white hair? It's fine when I only have to answer once but it gets annoying if you asked me more than once. It's not something to be proud of. It's like asking someone why are you so fat. See? Offensive? yes.

This was my previous hair colour, got it done at Lad Salon too. But the red highlight faded away in 2 weeks. turning into a golden highlight instead.

When waiting gets a little boring...

Snapchat time. This is a G-Dragon impostor

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm & Balm Stain | Review & Swatches

The Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Sweetheart has always been one my favourites and in fact, my most worn lippie.
Guardian was having a buy 2 at RM40 promo for the ColorBust range so I decided to grab 2 more shades: Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Rendezvous and Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Coy. I haven't gotten any of the ColorBust Matte Balm as I'm currently more into shine than matte.

It comes in a twist up crayon form, so there is no sharpening required. They smell and taste like mint, like polo. They served as a tinted balm which offer a great colour pay off and are pretty long lasting. (The pigmentation and longevity varies with shade, but they all last a good couple of hours) It feels like a gel staining onto the lips without the stickiness. They claim to offer a balm-like moisture, but for me, it's not as moisturizing as a good lip balm would offer but moisturizing enough for a lip stain. Overall, it's very affordable and comfortable to wear giving off a hydrating soft glossiness on the lips.

Swatches on my hand

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Coy
Coy is a deep brown nude. The packaging is high shine, different from the original balm stain. I find it pretty wearable on me, it's like my MLBB (my lips but better) shade.
Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Rendezvous
It's a sheer orange shade, not a shockingly bright orange. It appears to be slightly towards coral on my lips.
Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Sweetheart
This baby is my all time favourite, such a gorgeous colour, a true hot pink. The pigmentation and lasting power is crazy. It stays even after a meal. The gloss might be slightly gone but the colour stays.
Not completely removed even with makeup wipes. My trick on completely removing the stain is to brush them with toothpaste haha.
